How to maintain & repair your laminate floor

No matter which Quickstep laminate collection you choose from, all of our floors have one thing in common: they are designed to resist the test of time. Just follow our advice and you’ll be able to enjoy that new-floor feeling for many years to come.

Clean your Quick-Step laminate step by step

Weekly cleaning: dry

For regular maintenance, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner or a dry Quick-Step mop once per week. Its special fibres have a high dirt-absorption capacity.

Monthly cleaning: slightly damp

  1. Vacuum or mop your floor thoroughly. Make sure your vacuum cleaner is equipped with soft wheels and a special parquet brush.

  2. Fill the bottle of your Quick-Step Cleaning kit with water and Quick-Step Floor cleaner. Fill a bucket with clean water for rinsing out your mop.
    • Residential cleaning: approximately 1 teaspoon of Quick-Step Floor cleaner
    • Intensive cleaning of persistent dirty floors: approximately 3 teaspoons of Quick-Step Floor cleaner

  3. Start mopping. Rinse your mop in the bucket containing clean water and mop again. Let your floor airdry.
