Caring for light laminate flooring

Quick-Step Laminate flooring has an upper layer of melamine resin. This layer makes the floor scratch-resistant but also prevents dirt from penetrating the seams. Cleaning the floor is easy since all you need to do is to vacuum it and mop it. Do not use hard brushes, a microfiber cloth will work better. If you want the best result, use the cleaning agent that is available at Quick-Step as well. We recommend you use a small amount of water. You don’t have to mop the floor very often since dirt will not be absorbed by the floor.

Installing a light laminate floor

Quick-Step laminate flooring is made to be installed easily. You don’t need glue, spikes, or anything else. First, you have to clean the surface and make sure no dust or dirt is left. Then you have to start with the underfloor. The underfloor will not only stabilize the laminate flooring but also offers insulation. Make sure you’ll pick the right underfloor when you have underfloor heating systems. If the underfloor is installed, you can start with the light laminate. The panels will easily click into each other, nothing more is needed. If you don’t want to install the floor by yourself, you can contact a Quick-Step Master installer to ensure the floor is installed correctly.
