Can I use Quick-Step Parquet in my kitchen?

Yes, you can. Our “Wood for Life” technology gives each lacquered floorboard a protective layer so that dirt and dust cannot accumulate in the pores of the wood.

For both lacquered and oiled floors, moisture doesn’t stand a chance either thanks to the treated joints.

Water resistant Parquet

Our new Cascada range even has a "Wood for Life" - Water Resistance Technology, making them a perfect choice for your kitchen and even for your bathroom.

Because of the Water Resistance Technology of Quick-Step Cascada, an accident with a glass of water falling on the floor for example is not a problem. It is however recommended to remove any standing moisture as soon as reasonably possible.

How to clean Parquet?

Of course, the Parquet floor in your kitchen will have to be cleaned more frequently and more intensively than in some other rooms of your house. However, there's no need to wash the floor; in fact, this should never be done. Usually, dry or damp cleaning with Quick-Step microfiber tissues and Quick-Step maintenance products is sufficient.

Pay attention in case you have an oiled Quick-Step parquet. Regular maintenance with the Quick-Step Oil Care and Quick-Step Maintenance Oil is necessary to keep your floor in optimal state.
