Which tools do I need to install a wood floor?
We recommend having the following tools to hand if you want to install your new wooden floor: a ruler, pensil, hammer, saw, square, suitable dust mask, safety gloves and goggles, string/chalk line, tapping block, pull bar and spacers. For a glue down installation, you also need a B11 QS glue trowel.
Thanks to the Uniclic-Multifit click system, there is no need for nails and glue. Instead, the floors are laid ‘floating’ and attach to each other.
If you need to measure one extra time, make a small mark, give the striking block a push or get that angle perfect, it’s good to have a folding rule, pen and square in your toolkit. Remember: measure twice, cut once!
