Step inside Malene’s hilltop dream house

Take a look inside the extraordinary house of Malene Foss and her husband Per. Located on top of a hill in the Norwegian town of Lyngda, it offers breathtaking views, matched by a magnificent interior design.

Malene wanted to mix the modern touches of a Scandinavian interior, with a more traditional, rustic look. The result is a truly inspiring blend. For the floor, Malene chose the Quick-Step Impressive Soft Oak Light (IM1854). “This floor really captures my style. By mixing a rustic look with modern Nordic design, it’s the perfect floor for our dream house.”

In search of the perfect colour

“After comparing different types and colours at a local dealer right here in Lyngdal, I found the perfect floor for our home. The most important aspect was definitely the colour. I wanted something that’s not exactly grey, but not too yellow either. It had to be right in between those two. Quick-Step had just the colour and the design that I was looking for”, Malene says.

“On top of that, Quick-Step’s price-quality can’t be beaten. The entire Impressive range is scratch resistant and waterproof, so it was the ideal floor to install in the entire house – in the kitchen, but also in the living room and the hall. Thanks to the Uniclic system, the installation went very smoothly.”

Malene is absolutely thrilled with the result. And everyone who’s come around to visit, shares her enthusiasm. “We’ve only had great reactions on our new Quick-Step floor’, she tells us. “So I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!”
