Tip 1: Lay your parquet on dry screed
Laying parquet on moist screed is a frequent mistake. The result? Your floor can expand and even be forced upwards. The screed may contain only 1.5% moisture at the very most. Also, always have the heating on before and during the works.
Tip 2: Make sure you’re using the right tools
A buffer block, adjustable spacers and a metal pinch bar are crucially important for installing your floor. With these tools you’ll avoid causing damage and can lay your parquet quickly and easily.
