How to remove pet urine from wooden flooring?

Did your four-legged friend have a little accident? No worries, you can make sure that your wood flooring stays as good as new by following these simple steps.

  1. If the accident just happened, immediately blot up the urine with a paper towel.
  2. Remove urine with a moist cloth as quickly as possible. If you’re too late and the stain has dried, rub mechanically with a dry cloth.
  3. Your final alternative is to use a cloth slightly moistened with Quick-Step cleaning agent. Apply a generous amount of Quick-Step Clean and wash thoroughly.
  4. Re-treat your clean flooring with oil. If possible, try to limit treatment to a single plank. If your wooden floor is lacquered, you will need to reapply the lacquer.
